I gave this item 5 stars because they work great so far. The problem with most of the 'leatherette' style pads is that they start to disintegrate over time- long before the headphones themselves usually fall apart. The original manufacturer (Sony, in this instance) no longer supplies a replacement and the headphones are no longer made. But these replacement ear pads work very well so far and weren't difficult to put on. I just bought a second pair for back up just in case the headphones last a few more years.

I seriously considered throwing out my Sony headphones and getting all new ones, but then stumbled upon replacement ear pads. It's like having a brand new set of headphones, without the cost. I have no complaints, whatsoever. They feel just like the original ones.

The product delivery was great. I had no problem at all. The reason I did not give this 5 stars is the product was pricy and not the same quality as the original. However, they fit and work fine.
