Pads look nothng like seller image

These look like they are not actual Sennheiser HD414 pads in person. The seller image is not close, nor is it close to any image I have seen online. Compared to the recieved product.Mostly they look like nothig like the HD414 pad set I have had in the past on the HD414 headhones, I've owned..The product is much thinner in depth, and also wider in width. Even after letting the pads 'breath' post-shippng.I gave one star since the seller did ship quick. Another star due to the headband bieng what I expected. One additional star for the pads actully bieng yellow and fitting on the phones as described..I trimmed them down to be near the width of the 'bowls' I have had on my Grado cans. Even though the pads are 7 years old. The new "HD414" are not even half the thickness. They should have been a little bit thinner, not as much as they are.I also did the quarter mod on them and will just move on findng another retailer in the future. For my audio fiddlybit needs.

Good bundle, but not what I was looking for!

Going through threads in Head-fi, I wanted to test out some new ear pads for my SR 80i's and came across this bundle. Reviewers have said that these cushions are better than the stock ear pads but that wasn't the case for me. The new ear pads did not have as much cushion and weakened the soundstage and bass. The headband was very comfortable with easy installation. The only drawbacks were the fact that it felt very cheap and made the sleekness of the headphone diminish.If your looking for a different feel for your headphone, I suggest you try this bundle even though the price is ridiculous considering the material. It might work out for people like reviews have said.Pro's- Easy install- Comfortable headbandCon's- TOO much $$$$$$- Cheap material- Affected headphone audio
