Nice Pads but

The earpads comes in Beyerdynamic packaging, ensuring that it is the "official" pads manufactured by Beyer. It was a little frustrating getting the pads but once they were on the pads look amazing with my DT770 pro. Unfortunately after a few hours use, I noticed the adhesive breaking a part. Returning these for a refund. Was going to do an exchange but I found the Velour pads to be more comfortable and the quality to be much better.

Real Beyerdynamic branded leather pads

These leather pads are the real thing, they come in a Beyerdynamic branded package and have a small insert with instructions and the like on it. Also comes with the inner foam that sits inside the cup so you can replace that if you want to.Worked fine on my DT 770s, a bit tricky to get on without feeling like you're going to tear them, but as it says in the instructions, heating them up a bit with a hairdryer makes them a lot more pliable and easy to slip on.Other than that there really isn't much more to say.

Just installed these today. They offer great isolation meaning I don't hear a lot of ambient noise around me. They also leak a lot less noise meaning I'm not disturbing my colleagues. I love the increased bass asa well, definitely a great purchase.The only cons I could think of is they are a little tiny bit less comfortable than the Velour pads and technically could cause your ears to sweat over a long period of time.
