My OE headphones are now like new, but this did not last long (UPDATED)

Those cushions are made for the Bose QC3 as well as the On Ear (old version) headphones.I got them to replace the cushions of my OE headphones, that I have been using everyday at work for 5 years. The previous cushions were still comfortable, but lost softness and fluffiness.My headphones are now as comfortable and soft as the day I got them. I am glad I was able to change the cushions only, instead of dropping $$ to get new headphones.Using this kit was very easy: the old cushions popped out very easily, and I just had to snap the new one in place. Just make sure, when you remove the old ones, not to grab the layer of foam that is between the headphones and the cushions, as you need to keep it in place.Delivery was included in the price, and I got them in 2 days.I am now good for 5 more years!UPDATE 09/18/2012:One of the cushions gave up (the plastic ring giving the cushion its shape and securing it to the headset snapped), making it uncomfortable to wear. I am surprised that those new cushions already gave up only after a few months of light use (I wear this headset at my desk only, and always leave it there), while the original ones lasted for years.Going from 5 stars to 2. I contacted Bose about it. Let's see if they do anything about it!UPDATE 09/19/2012:Bose is sending replacement. They were very quick to take care of the issue. Let's hope the replacement lasts longer! Updating the rating to 3 stars for now, as I am still not sure those cushions are made to last as much as the original ones.

Fixed my worn out Bose QC3s!

Easy to install and immediately solved the high pitch squeal that was happening due to the cushioning of the old pads wearing out.

I purchased QC3 headphones a few years ago, after the third year, they developed a high pitch whine so I replaced the ear cushion, and now they are like new. The noise is gone and I extended the life of my $300 headphones.
