These are not the factory originals but I actually prefer these. Still very comfortable and enjoyable after very long sits despite using non-memory foam cushions. These actually feel nore rugged and I anticipate them lasting longer than the original's two years.No change in sound quality noted or measured. Highly recommended replacement.

These replacement pads fit my Triport as promised, and even seem better than the originals. The originals were softer, but the material on these seem better. the originals started to peel and flake (which is why I replaced them), and these look like they'll hold up better. Time will tell, but in the meantime I'm completely satisfied.

Don't waste your money on this knock off

First of all, the AE1 and the Triport TP1 does not share similar ear pads. Nonetheless, these knock offs are nowhere close "comfort" wise to the OEM ear pads from Bose. This one have stiffer foam that is sticky when in contact to the opposite earpad. The inner diameter is also smaller and will not fit comfortably around your ears. Don't waste your money on this item. Can't stand it after wearing it for a few minutes. Get the originals from Bose for $35 with shipping included. Yes, they are expensive but nothing else comes close to it.
