Replacement ear pads for PXC 250

I am very happy with these replacement pads. The headphones are still in good working shape but the ear pads fell apart from frequent use and Sennheiser stopped making these compact headphones. I've been looking for new noise cancelling headphones to use on flights, but none were compact, which forced me to be economical. I'm glad I didn't wind up contributing to the landfill by throwing away a perfectly good set of headphones. Anyway, these pads did fit but it took me about 30-40 min to figure it out. You have to pull the old ear pads completely out leaving the plastic track edge bare. It will take some pulling on the leatherette ends but it was resilient and took the pulling rather well to fit it over the track edge. It takes about three go arounds to stretch the leatherette a bit and then do the long stretch to pull it over and it will naturally catch. Anyway, it worked but not particularly easy. Patience and persistence works.

I am using these cushions on my Koss KSC-75 headphones and they are great! The closed nature of these pads really help to bring out the bass that was escaping from the original pad. It also helps to drown out background noise at the gym to keep all those rude people talking on their phones out of your head. These pads also deal extremely well with sweat and are very durable. I would highly recommend these pads.

Perfect pads, very hard to replace

As the previous reviewer wrote, these are a PAIN to install but well worth the effort. I searched all over the internet for instructions on how to replace but only found videos for other Sennheiser models. I guess since this model is discontinued, they don't care to support it. Thankfully replacement pads are still available and we can continue to use these great noise-canceling headphones. With some patience and persistence, you can get these pads replaced. You do need to "stretch" the leatherette out a bit and then wrap it around the earpiece. It will take several tries and sore fingers but you can do it! My husband gave up; it took me about 15 minutes per side. Now the headphones look brand new. BTW, these are great headphones. I have used them for years when traveling for work and now am happy that my 3 year old son can use and enjoy them for travel, movies, iPad, etc. They are compact, comfortable and sound great. Love them.
