I cannot believe the difference that new pads make. I knew it was time to change out my old pads because they were disintegrating but I had no idea that the sound quality was going to improve, though maybe that should have been an obvious outcome.I was getting a horrible high pitched tone anytime I placed my hand or an object next to the headset by the microphones on each ear cup. I assumed that was just normal and had something to do with the noise cancelling feature but with my new ear pads that problem is no more!I am very satisfied with this purchase. The only difference between these and the Bose pads is that the Bose pads are just a little softer and more comfortable. Very minor difference but noticeable, but at this price it is hard to complain about anything.Thanks.

Not BOSE OEM

I've had my QC3 since 2006 - headphones work as good as the day I bought them. It was time to change out he pads due to dry cracks and typical wear/tear. Important to note; that this is not BOSE OEM. Just the appearance alone is not a bit-off.This replacement vs. OEM:- OEM leather is better- OEM pad is 20%-25% thicker- mesh ports are identical- does not have a squared edge, replacement pad has a slight taperOverview:- 5 of 5 stars: fit and ease of installation, very easy to install, snaps right in (check out youtube)- 3.5 of 5 stars: Quality of material. has a' plether' feel, not as soft.- 3.5 of 5 stares: fit is changed a bit, probably due to the pad shape. After break-in, comfort just may improve.- 5 of 5 stars: Value. If you buy OEM it will cost you $35. This 'knock-off' will set you back $16Good enough for me!
